Safe Medication Disposal Poster and Medicine Drop-Off Box

Recovery from illness sounds a good news to us, but it might not be to our neighbors in nature.
The unwanted or untaken medicines piled up in the household trash cans are actually contaminating the water, affecting our marine ecosystem and causing the emergence of antibiotic-resistant superbugs.

From 30 June to 30 July, we are partnering with JCI Tai Ping Shan by placing a drop-off box to take back unwanted, unused or expired medicines. The collected medication waste will then be handed over to professional institution for proper disposal and incineration.

Let’s help protect the habitat of ours and wildlife’s.

Please refer to the activity poster for the medicines that are not appropriate for collection.
